… In an election cycle filled with despicable ads run by Republicans, Vivek Ramaswamy just may have launched the worst of them all this morning against Amy Acton, his Democratic opponent in the OH governor’s race.

A Republican ad features Amy Acton’s estranged mother calling her daughter a liar. The two have not spoken since Dr. Acton’s mother backed her husband after his arrest on rape charges.

A spokeswoman for the campaign of Amy Acton, the Democratic nominee, said “multiple people” were injured when an “armed individual” lunged at her during a county fair.
